: )

So our baking day didn't quite turn out as a baking day. lol.

We had a pretty quick grocery shopping nearby and bought whatever ingredients we needed. It has been a while since I went out for grocery shopping with people other than my family. haha. And Val got to buy her brushes which made her day. -__- Yea, things like buying brushes makes her day. lol.

Val and I went up to Ken's place first with no one else around. So we had nothing to do and ended up preparing dinner. So we sliced potatoes, washed mushrooms, chopped garlic and sliced long beans. It felt like how things would be if we were to go for WAT together next time. : ) haha and they were all still not back yet from the salmon search.

So we ended up watching "The Stepfather" while waiting for them which was nice because Penn Badgley was in it but not so nice cause it was scary. Then the guys came back without any salmon but with Korean beer which had this really cool colour changing label that shows the right temperature to drink it. lol. Then, our friend got lazy to bake and suggested to do it another day. Hence, it was a baking day without baking. haha.

And so we cooked dinner (more like Val cooked and I tried to look like I'm helping!) while they were outside playing PS3. It felt very motherly. Like we're the parents preparing food while the kids were outside playing. Haaahaaa.

Then it was dinner time. The main thing about the dinner was of course the food and the comments about the food. haahahha. Okay first of all, Val cooks good food. : ) But she found her potato chicken too salty (which we all found just nice!) and she forgot to put soya sauce in her eggs with long beans. lol cuteness.

Mm, despite all the "comments" which were all for fun's sake, we ended up finishing all the food. haha. It was a very satisfying dinner and we had Ribena Longan for dessert. And then we spent some time just sitting at the dining table, chatting. This is what I call, quality time with friends.

And what completed the day was coming home to Vader kissing me and wanting me to pet him to sleep. Such a sweetheart. And Bruno, being himself, of course didn't move an inch. haaahaaa.
